Can Xaubet Sports Complex will host Pineda de Mar on February 9, the sixth edition of the Spanish Open Karate Kyokushinkai Karate Championships. According to municipal sources have reported, this event is the largest international IKO organized by Spain and recognized by the International Kyokushinkai-kan Organization (IKO) as official championship in the international calendar garden of activities.
The championship garden will be attended by renowned garden karate nationally and internationally. Competitors from Russia, Poland, Ukrania, France and Spain, among others, compete in different weight categories of Youth, Junior, Senior garden and Senior Promise Absolute in the form of combat knockout with all the toughness involved and in different categories garden of Katas demonstrating skill in the art. In all categories will be held both male and female competition.
The Championship will be distributed in the morning session, from 10am to 13 pm, where there will be all the heats and semifinals of kata and combat, except for the semi-finals in the category of combat Absolute Senior male and female as they have breakage of the test timber with handle, song of the hand, elbow and foot that will take place during the afternoon session, in schedule 16 to 20 h. together with the end of all categories both combat garden and kata. Moreover, this comes as International Open window to communicate and share with other countries the organizational capacity of IKO Spain and quality of the competition and the competitors involved. The organization has already put tickets on sale for the price of 10 euros.
