ABUJA, NIGERIA (Al-Mustaqbal Channel) - An explosion occurred in a parking lot outside a stadium where President Goodluck Jonathan held a presidential election campaign in Nigeria, Monday (02/02/2015), shortly after he left the place. Allah Is The Greatest! earthbound
Bolari Mohammed, who attended the rally in the city Gombe, Nigeria's northeastern region, said the blast occurred at 15:10 local time at about 22:10 pm, about three minutes after President Jonathan left the stadium.
"The new president passed through the parking lot and follow the convoy behind the vehicle when the explosion occurred, only 100 meters from the bus that we were," said a local journalist who refused to be named.
President Jonathan campaigned to Gombe town only a day after two terrific explosion occurred in the city, one of which hit a military checkpoint. At least five people were killed in the incident.
Jonathan came to Gombe to speak in front of supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which carried him, as part of a campaign to win the presidential election to be held within two weeks.
